  1. Know the Market:  Just because you believe your home is worth 1 million dollars does not mean that it is.  Jo will help you pull comps on comparable homes in your surrounding area to help you determine an appropriate selling price.  Pricing your home to high can keep your home on the market for an unreasonably long period of time.  Reducing the price there after can send up red flags to potential buyers and make them think twice about making an offer.  It is important to know what your home is worth.

Marketing:  A lot of mistakes can be made when marketing your home and Jo will take you through the “Do’s and Don’ts” of marketing and make sure that you have that competitive edge over the competition.  Marketing, successful marketing is the key to successfully selling your home in a timely fashion.  Having a dedicated website for potential buyers to visit, virtual tours, private showings for other realtors are key to marketing your home.  
  3. Negotiations:  Whether it is stocks, bonds, Mutual Funds, or Real Estate the old saying “buy low sell high” is a phrase taken out of context a lot of the time.  It is your Agents responsibility and Goal to help you determine a suitable listing price that presents value to both you the ‘Seller’ and the ‘Buyer’ When it comes time to review an ‘Offer’ Jo will walk you through the due diligence process and help you come up with the appropriate response then present it to the ‘Buyer’ on your behalf.  
  4. Closing:  This is where many agents do not follow through.  Jo has made it to every closing with her clients and believes it is important to be there for yours.  Once an offer is accepted and been approved by both parties it moves to closing and Jo will be there to walk you through that process and see that everything moves quickly and smoothly.
